Second-year students of Apayao State College–Luna Campus were given an in-depth briefing on gender-based violence (GBV) laws and traffic regulations during a short orientation organized by the Luna Municipal Police Station on August 11 at the EKB Auditorium.

Pat Khier M. Pudoc, Administrative Police Non-Commissioned Officer (PNCO), led discussions on traffic laws and road safety. Meanwhile, Police Corporal Geneva C. Claveria, Women and Children Protection Desk PNCO, addressed pressing issues on GBV, explaining key provisions of Republic Act 8353 (Anti-Rape Law of 1997), RA 9995 (Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009), and RA 11648 (Amendments to the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act). Also, in attendance was PCpl Khay Ann B. Sion, Police Community Relations PNCO.
